Does a chart theme tutorial exist? I would like to be able to define a theme for charts and not have to repeat all the minute selections.

We currently do not have a tutorial on themes. Themes in charts are used to change the color and general look, and by default all of our charts use the Rebus theme. If I understand your request correctly, you would like to be able to create a template that can be applied to new widgets. We have opened an improvement ticket with our team to look into that request.
In the meantime, you can create a template widget that only features filters and the desired chart design. You can then copy that widget and use it as the base of your new widget. This will only work for widgets built using the same data collection.
